Abstract Art Journaling with Watercolor and Mixed Media

Playing abstract with watercolors is one of my favourite habits to take some creative minutes off on a busy day. It’s an relaxing, joyful and intuitive process. I combine the watercolors with other materials like pencils, crayons and stamps.

Watercolor Art Journaling in an Old Book

I recently started a new course on Domestika with Diego Bianki and I was super inspired by his way to use and make old books into creative journals. For this art journal spread I worked in a „new“ art journal which is made from an very old book I found on a flea marked some weeks ago.
For today’s page I used the Mixed Media Marks #1 stamp set, Supervision watercolors and Brushos.
