Playing intuitively with watercolors can be so relaxing and so much fun. I love to do this after a busy day. It really calms me down! It’s also a good way to practise your watercolor skills and to explore new ideas.

During the last weeks I made some abstract botanical watercolor paintings. I really enjoy the intuitive process. Putting down the colors and adding some free shapes, it so much fun. Today I have an easy diy paper project for you. I folded a one sheet ATC Pocket Folder from an A4 Paper. This little folder can be used to store or trade Artist Trading Cards. Today’s art journal spread is created in my handmade mini Traveler’s Notebook Art Journal. I am working also with handmade inserts from mixed media paper. For coloring I used watercolors today.

Hi there! At first I’d like to mention, that you don’t need gouache paints to create these tags. The background can be painted with watercolors, too. My tags today are very colorful and combined with some dies from Tim Holtz and different stamps.

Today’s video is another ATC tutorial. I used some of my gelli printed paper scraps to create them. For the background I collaged some strips to a piece of watercolor paper. My focal images are my Small Grungy Butterfies combined with leaves dies from Tim Holtz.
