I am creating a Christmas/ Winter scene today in one of my handmade art journals. I am working with Distress Inks and Embossing for the background. The houses are colored with watercolor pencils.

Today’s art journal page is made in my handmade mini Traveler’s Notebook insert. I started with an easy collage background and played with water-soluble crayons and one of my Doodle Flower stamps.

I love to paint loose and sketchy flowers with watercolors. I believe this is something everybody can do without having much knowledge about watercolor painting. I really enjoy the process and it’s always something you can fit into a busy day.

I made another autumnal layout in my art journal. I had a play with the Stabilo Woodys again and I had so much fun. They are super easy to use. If you don’t have the Woodys, you can use any other water-soluble crayon instead. Today I’m sharing another diy art journal. This time I used envelopes to make it.Of course I also create a page in that journal. I am using Brushos for it. I used a lot of different stamps on this page.

I’d like to share another easy way on how to make your own art journal. It’s a super cheap and easy Method. All you need is some paper and glue. A sewing machine is optional. I’m also creating an autumnal page in this journal using my Textured Mushroom stamps.
