I have a mixed media canvas video for you today. I used a watercolor flower painted on old book paper as a focal image. I made it pop combining it with black gesso.

For my main image I created a vase from old book paper and added the Doodle Flowers. These are also colored in with the Stabilo Woodys.

I’m creating a super easy art journal page today using Faber-Castell Gelatos together with some stamps in the Dina Wakley Media Journal. I’ve added transparent watercolor ground from Schmincke to the page first. The butterflies I’m using are from the Rubber Dance Butterfly Trio stamp set.
Today I’m creating a very easy and quickly made art journal page with an acrylic paint background. It’s perfect for beginners and a good recipe to create other pages in a similar way. I’m creating an underwater scene with the Textured Sea Creature Stamps from Rubber Dance. I really enjoy the intuitive play with watercolors in my journal. It’s very relaxing and fun.

Today I have a new art journaling tutorial to share. I used Distress Oxide Inks together with the embossing resist technique to create the background. I’m working in my 6 x 6 watercolor journal. This page is super easy and perfect for beginners. As a focal point I used a butterfly stamp from Rubber Dance.
I created a page in my handmade mini envelope art journal using some gelli printed deli paper for collaging and stencils to create interest on the background. My main image is on of the cute cats from the Rubber Dance Pur-fect stamp set. I coloured it in with the Arteza Everblend alcohol markers.
