Art Journaling Tutorial – Collage, Texture and Brushos

Hi everyone! Today I have an art journaling tutorial for you that includes a bunch of mixed media techniques such as collage, texture paste and Brusho powders. In addition to that I am using some background stamping using our brand new stamps and a focal image made with one of our new stencils. Halli hallo. Heute zeige ich eine Art Journal Seite mit so einigen Mixed Media Techniken. Ich verwende Collage, Strukturpaste und Brushos. Außerdem nehme ich einige unserer neuen Stempel um etwas mehr Textur im Hintergrund zu erzeugen und unsere neue Sketchy Leaves 3 Schablone um das Hauptmotiv zu kreieren. Unsere neuen Stempel und Schablonen sind übrigens noch bis nächsten Mittwoch, den 20.9. um 10% reduziert.

For the background collage I used some design papers and gelli prints. I added a layer of clear gesso. With a little bit of white acrylic paint I blend the background papers together. To create texture I am using our new Mini Ink Dots stencil together with crackle paste. After everything is dry I used some mixed media stamps from Mix It Up 4 to build up more layers. The most interesting step is adding the Brushos! It’s so much fun to move the pigments around with water and a brush. The focal image is also made with Brushos and one of our new stencils.. I already made a video tutorial for this technique and will link it at the end of this post again.

Für die Hintergrundcollage verwende ich Gelli Prints und einige andere Papierreste. Anschließend lege ich über die ganze Seite eine Schicht klares Gesso. Die Collage verblende ich mit einer kleinen Menge weißer Acrylfarbe. Für noch mehr Textur trage ich Strukturpaste mit unserer neuen Mini Ink Dots Schablone auf. Der beste Teil ist das hinzufügen der Brushos. Es macht unheimlich viel Spaß diese mit Wasser und Pinsel zu verteilen. Das Hauptmotiv habe ich ebenfalls mit Brushos und einer unerer neuen Schablonen gestaltet. Hierzu habe ich bereits eine Anleitung gezeigt. Die Verlinke ich am Ende vom Post.
