Making Collage Fodder with Distress Inks & Art Journal Page – Video Tutorial

Hi everyone! I’m sharing a spread in one of my handmade junk art journals today, playing with acrylic paints, collage, stamps and some mark making. As my focal images I am using some handmade botanical collage fodder. I played with Distress Inks and my new Sketchy Leaves 4 Stencil Set.

Halli hallo. Ich zeige heute nochmal eine Seite im handgemachten Art Journal mit Acrylfarbe, Collage, Stempel und Markmakings. Meine Hauptmotive sind zwei Blätter, die ich mit Distress Inks und meiner neuen Sketchy Leaves 4 Schablone kreiert habe.

I used the masks of the stencil set together with the Distress Inks. As my mask were already covered with some dry paint I thought it might work good with the Inks, as the botanical images now had some grip to hold the ink. After inking them up I spritzed them with water and pressed them onto some mixed media paper. You will see how I did this in my video:

Da die Masken des Schablonen-Sets bereits mit einer rauen Schicht getrockneter Acrylfarbe überzogen waren ging ich davon aus, dass Distress Inks darauf gut haften würden und ich mit den Schablonen quasi stempel könnte.
