Birds Galore

I everybody! I’m here with some new sketchbook pages showing loads of birds. I recently watched the replays of two drawing sessions from Emma Carlisle Patreon. One was birds and nests, the other was owls. Birds have always been one of my favourite themes!

I think it’s because there are so many of them, that you never can draw them “wrong” everything is possible, isn’t it?

let’s start with birds and their nests. They are all done in different sketchbooks. I used my A4 Royal Talens and the Canson Graduate, but I also worked in the smaller Royal Talens and the A5 Canson.

Here are the owls. This time I used the black Posca 1MC to make a quick and loose outline. Usually I do not work with outlines and then colour in – but I really enjoyed doing in in the class I took from Lewis Rossignol.
