I have a mixed media canvas video for you today. I used a watercolor flower painted on old book paper as a focal image. I made it pop combining it with black gesso.

Time for another sketchy watercolor flower. I so enjoy painting loose florals in a mixed media style. I worked in my 6 x 6 watercolor journal and used paints from different manufacturers.

Today I have a new art journaling tutorial to share. It’s super easy and perfect for beginners. I played in my square watercolor journal using Stabilo Woodys and collaging. For my main image I created a vase from old book paper and added the Doodle Flowers. These are also colored in with the Stabilo Woodys.

Today I am sharing another art journal page in my new handmade journal using a lot of layers. I am playing with acrylic paints. My main image is a flower from my Flowers Gone Wild stamp set.

I love to paint loose and sketchy flowers with watercolors. I believe this is something everybody can do without having much knowledge about watercolor painting. I really enjoy the process and it’s always something you can fit into a busy day.

I made another autumnal layout in my art journal. I had a play with the Stabilo Woodys again and I had so much fun. They are super easy to use. If you don’t have the Woodys, you can use any other water-soluble crayon instead. Today I’m making the last page of a mini journal that was laying around for about 3 years now (or even longer). It’s the same kind of back to back bound book I shared a view posts ago. For the page I used my Textured Mushroom stamps to create a fall mood.

I have a junk art journal spread for you today using up some of my paper scraps and my loose watercolor flowers. I really love to create these spreads. They are perfect for a quick start when you don’t really know where to start.

My page today is in my handmade back to back bound journal. I used Tissue paper that I have inked with Brushos to create the background. I also play with some stamps and acrylic paints and inks.
