Loose Watercolor Flowers – Mixed Media Style

I love to paint loose and sketchy flowers with watercolors. I believe this is something everybody can do without having much knowledge about watercolor painting. For this spread I used waterproof ink to sketch the flower first and then I went in with my watercolors. I used Mijello Mission Gold watercolors as those are very transparent and I wanted to make sure not to cover up the ink lines. You can really easily fit this into a busy day. It’s a 5 min Sketch in the morning and 5min of coloring in the evening. Et voilá… it’s a pretty painting.
