I love playing abstract and intuitive with watercolors. I often play in my journal 5-10 minutes during housework or cooking. This gives me always a bit of creative time during each day. Usually I don’t plan anything but the colours. I have started a sketchbook recently where I record my favourite color palettes.

Welcome to a new mixed media tutorial. I’m playing in one of my handmade art journals today using mainly Neocolors II and watercolors. I create kind of a messy background. It’s really intuitive and easy. My main image is one of my new wildflower stamps. I used it together with the Mixed Media Marks and Pencil Marks stamp set.
