I love to paint loose and sketchy flowers with watercolors. I believe this is something everybody can do without having much knowledge about watercolor painting. For this spread I used watercolor pencils to sketch the flower first and then I went in with my watercolors.

I am making some gelli prints today using some of my brand new stamps. I am working with acrylic paints and the square and a tag sized gelli printing plate. The new stamps will be available in the shop next week for preorder. International shipping starts on January 11th. Shipping within Germany starts on January 2nd.

I made a new page in my handmade mini Traveler’s Notebook. I started with a black background and build up layers to create my background. My main images are from my Loose Florals stamp set. I also used Nuvo Shimmer Powders to add more colour.

I used Mijello Mission Gold watercolors as those are very transparent and I wanted to make sure not to cover up the ink lines. You can really easily fit this into a busy day. It’s a 5 min Sketch in the morning and 5min of coloring in the evening. Et voilá… it’s a pretty painting.

I’m back in my mini Traveler’s Art Journal today. I am creating a collage with old book paper and one of my messy underpapers. For more color I am playing with Stabilo Woodys and some stamps.
