Every background you make will turn out different and will give you a good start for your pages. I am building the page using also some gold texture paste with a stencil and different stamped images.

Today I just want to share some greeting cards with the new Inky Friends butteflies from Rubber Dance.
For the first card I used a watercolor background with a stenciled image. For the second I used a gelli print from my stash. The butterflies are stamped with neon pink acrylic paint and colored in with gouache paints.

I played in my Dina Wakley Media Journal using the Stabilo Woodys. I did this totally intuitive and had a lot of fun. If you don’t have the Woodys, you can also use any other water-soluble crayon (e.g.: Gelatos, Distress Crayons, Neocolor II …) My main images on the page are the rainbow and the flower from my Flowers Gone Wild stamp set.
