I’m sharing a tutorial for a mixed media tag trio today. I used different mixed media die-cuts to add texture to the background. To colour in the tags I picked fluid acrylics or acrylic inks. I’m sharing a spring themed art journal page today. I am creating a collage background with stamped tissue paper and some old book paper. To add colour I am using the Neocolor II Crayons.

Mixed Media ATCs from Recycled Packaging

I used some old cardboard to create four new artist trading cards. The background of the cards are collaged with pieces from a watercolor floral painted book page. The main images are just grabed from my stash.

On today’s art journal page I used a digital printable to add some collaging to the background. The paper is free for you to download over on my website. I also used some old book pages and one of my cleaning sheets (papers where I clean my brushes and such).

Today I’m sharing a mixed media canvas with a collage background. I used Gelatos to add more colour to the page. My flowers are stamped on watercolor paper and coloured in with watercolors.. My main images are the Crazy Flowers stamps from Rubber Dance.

Easy Art Journal Page for Beginners – Mixed Media Video

Today I’m creating a very easy and quickly made art journal page with an acrylic paint background. It’s perfect for beginners and a good recipe to create other pages in a similar way. The acrylic paint is applied with a brayer. I added texture with some stamps and also a stencil. Finally I added the focal image and a sentiment.
