It’s time again for a new mixed media collage in my art journal. I played with some of my own loose watercolor flower paintings. I really enjoy using them in my art journal. So all these practice sheets are not wasted.
I have a quick project to share today over on my YouTube channel. I made two mixed media ATCs with my brand new Loose Florals stamp sets. I started with some collaging on the background before I stamped the flowers with the masking technique. I used watercolors to color them in.
Today I’m sharing an art journaling video tutorial with the cute „What A Girl Wants“ stamp set from Rubber Dance. It’s kind of a rainbow collage. I used old book papers, left overs and brusho inked tissue to create the background.
II’m playing in my 6 x 6 watercolor art journal today using watercolors in combination with embossing to create the background. I’m creating an underwater scene with the Textured Sea Creature Stamps from Rubber Dance. I really enjoy the intuitive play with watercolors in my journal. It’s very relaxing and fun.
I’m sharing a ten minutes art journal page today using mainly acrylic paints. I try to create something daily, but sometimes there is not enough free space to start a big project. Today I have a new art journaling tutorial to share. I used Distress Oxide Inks together with the embossing resist technique to create the background. I’m working in my 6 x 6 watercolor journal. This page is super easy and perfect for beginners. As a focal point I used a butterfly stamp from Rubber Dance.
I’m sharing a page in my 6 x 6 watercolor journal today. I start the page with some collage papers. After adding acrylics and gesso I played with the Stabilo Woodys. My main images, the flowers are stamped with the brand new Loose Florals from Rubber Dance. I coloured them in with alcohol markers.
