It’s time for a new mixed media collage in my envelope art journal using left over papers, old book pages and some watercolor flower paintings. I really love that intuitive play in my journal and also the fact that those beautiful flowers don’t have to lay in the shelf forever.

It’s time for another easy art journal page tutorial in my 6 x 6 watercolor journal. I am working with limited supplies and this spread is perfect for beginners. You just need some left over papers, any watersoluble crayon, gesso (or white acrylic paint) and some stamps.

I made myself a new insert for my Travelers Notebook. I used the Clairfontaine 60gsm paper. To decorate the pages I used old book pages, patterned papers, some stamps and touches of watercolor.

Today I’m sharing a mixed media canvas tutorial using acrylic inks to create a watercolor background. I also use some gold foil to create some special accents on the canvas. I used the Rubber Dance Dreamcatcher stamp set together with tissue paper to get a clear and crisp impression of the image.

I’m sharing an easy page in my 6 x 6 watercolor art journal. I started with some collaging on the background and used Stabilo Woodys and also Neocolor II Crayons to add some colour. It’s a pretty easy page, perfect for mixed media beginners.

Hi everyone! Today I have a new mixed media collage made in my mini envelope art journal. I used of course some of my watercolor practise paintings together with stamps, scrap papers and old book pages.

I’m sharing a mixed media canvas today. The background is created with a acrylic paint scraping technique. It’s a really fun technique which creates sometime surprising effects. My main images are the Crazy Flowers stamps from Rubber Dance.

I’m sharing a watercolor art journal page today with a rainbow background. It’s a very easy way to create a background. I also used a stencil together with white gesso for some extra texture. Instead of the flowers I’ve used you can use any kind of flowers.
