Today’s art journal page is perfect for beginners in mixed media. You don’t need many supplies to recreate that page. I played with Stabilo Woodies, some collage papers and stamps from Rubber Dance.

Today I’m sharing an art journal page in my envelope journal using Brushos together with Embossing to create the background. My focal point are two butterflies. They are from the Rubber Dance Butterfly Trio stamp set and also embossed and coloured in with Brushos.

I’m sharing a mixed media collage on canvas today. It measures 12 x 12 inches. This is a very easy tutorial perfect for beginners. I recreated a watercolor page from my art journal.

It’s time again for a new mixed media collage in my art journal. I played with some of my own loose watercolor flower paintings. I really enjoy using them in my art journal. So all these practice sheets are not wasted.
