I’m sharing a mixed media canvas today. The background is created with a acrylic paint scraping technique. It’s a really fun technique which creates sometime surprising effects. My main images are the Crazy Flowers stamps from Rubber Dance.

I’m sharing a watercolor art journal page today with a rainbow background. It’s a very easy way to create a background. I also used a stencil together with white gesso for some extra texture. Instead of the flowers I’ve used you can use any kind of flowers.

It’s time for a new mixed media collage in my envelope art journal using left over papers, old book pages and some watercolor flower paintings. I really love that intuitive play in my journal and also the fact that those beautiful flowers don’t have to lay in the shelf forever.

Today’s art journal page is perfect for beginners in mixed media. You don’t need many supplies to recreate that page. I played with Stabilo Woodies, some collage papers and stamps from Rubber Dance.

Today I’m sharing an art journal page in my envelope journal using Brushos together with Embossing to create the background. My focal point are two butterflies. They are from the Rubber Dance Butterfly Trio stamp set and also embossed and coloured in with Brushos.

Today I’m sharing an art journaling video tutorial with the cute “What A Girl Wants” stamp set from Rubber Dance. It’s kind of a rainbow collage. I used old book papers, left overs and brusho inked tissue to create the background.

II’m playing in my 6 x 6 watercolor art journal today using watercolors in combination with embossing to create the background. I’m creating an underwater scene with the Textured Sea Creature Stamps from Rubber Dance. I really enjoy the intuitive play with watercolors in my journal. It’s very relaxing and fun.
