These paints are similar to acrylic gouache. They are drying mat and permanent. I love using them as a base layer in my sketchbook. Cute Owl Drawing with Paul Rubens Oil-Pastels
In today’s video I have a closer look at the brand new Paul Rubens Oil Pastels HaiYa. I have you to tell in advance, that I am not an oil pastel artist! I love mixed media and I use oil pastels in my sketchbook to add some accents or for mark making in my art journal. In this video I’m going to make an owl sketch with the pastels. They are super creamy, go down very smoothly and blend really nicely.
