Flower Greeting Cards

I just want to share some greeting cards I made recently. I used my Loose Florals stamp set for these cards. They are great for Valentine’s Day or for any other happy occasion. I kept them very neutral, so I can use them when they are needed. I made the backgrounds with watercolors and stamped the flowers onto some of my gelli prints. I cut this card with a frame die to get this nice edges. I taped it to my working surface using some masking tape and painted the stripes with black watercolor and a flat brush (vanGogh – Oxide Black). I arranged the flowers with dimensional glue dots.

These two card background are made with Ultramarin Blue and Indigo. I just swiped the paint qickly onto them with a big flat brush. Don’t overthink that process. It has to go quickly. While the paint was still wet I threw in a little bit of salt. I used uniPosca markers to give the flowers some accents and highlights.
