I recently started a new course on Domestika with Diego Bianki and I was super inspired by his way to use and make old books into creative journals. For this art journal spread I worked in a “new” art journal which is made from an very old book I found on a flea marked some weeks ago.
I mainly used acrlics for the background plus some stamping and collage.
Vor kurzem habe ich einen neuen Kurs auf Domestika von Diego Bianki begonnen. Das hat mich super inspiriert mal wieder ein altes Buch als kreatives Journal zu verwenden. Für die heutige Seite habe ich hauptsächlich Acrylfarben verwendet und noch einige Stempel und etwas Collage.

Oh my what a wonderful idea. Where would you get old books? Oh wait at schools there is always a table of them. Next time I see the table I’ll pick one up. I saw this Anthropologie window full of painted blooms that were painted over old book paper. I just love art!
