Today I’m sharing an abstract art video tutorial. I love to create abstract mixed media pages in my journals. As they usually have some drying times inbetween I used to work in more journals at the same time.

Grungy Mixed Media Tags – New Stamp Release
I’m creating some mixed media tags today using Derwent Inktense Pencils and a lof of stamps. These tags are very easy to make and a lof of fun to experiment with the pencils.
I am using my new stamp designs, they are now available for preorder over in the shop.

To get my creative juices flowing, I often create these kind of art journal pages. They are super simple and don’t take much time. They also fit perfectly into a busy day. Today I am working with watercolors, Derwent Inktense Pencils and Neocolor II Crayons. I also use some of the brand new stamps from our new release. It will be available in the store soon.

Abstract Mixed Media Painting using only one Color (+Black & White)
For today’s painting I used only one color plus black and white. I found, that these kind of challenges are a great way to come up with new ideas. It forces me to create interest in different ways.

Today I am working with the Paul Rubens Metallic Oil Pastels and Acrylic Paints/ Inks. I am creating an abstract painting on a piece of canvas. I cut it from the Dina Wakley Media Journal. I primed it with Gesso before I started.
