Abstract Art Journal Collage – Video Tutorial

Hi everyone! I’m sharing an abstract art journal collage in one of my cheap spiral bound sketchbooks today. I am using handmade collage papers. Some are prints I made with the gelli plate, some are stamped old book papers. I picked a colour combination that is going to match some focal images that I’ve made with our Collage Leaves stamp sets. I have stamped several images from the set onto an abstract watercolor background. The title are words from my Mix A Sentiment stamp set.

Halli hallo. Ich zeige heute eine abstrakte Collage in meinem Spiral-Journal. Das ist ein einfacher billiger Skizzenblock vom Action. Ich verwende handgemachte Collagepapiere, darunter eine bestempelte alte Buchseite und einige Gelli prints. Die Farben habe ich nach meinem bereits vorbereitetn Hauptmotiv, einem Blatt aus unserem Collage Leaves Stempelset, gewählt. Gestempelt habe ich das Motiv auf einen bunten Aquarellhintergrund. Den Titel habe ich mit Wörtern aus unserem Mix A Sentiment Stempelset zusammengesetzt.

Hi everyone! I’m sharing a spread in my watercolor journal today, playing with collage, Brusho powders, stamps and some mark making. I am creating botanical collage elements with Brushos and my new Sketchy Leaves 4 Stencil Set. I also use the pigments powders to colour in my focal image, a little bird from my new Textured Birds 2 stamp set.

Mit Hilfe meiner neuen Sketchy Leaves 4 Schablone kreiere ich einige Collage Elemente zusammen mit den Brusho Pulvern. Hi everyone! I’m sharing an abstract art journal collage in one of my cheap spiral bound sketchbooks today. I am using handmade collage papers. Some are just left over paint papers, some are prints I made with the gelli plate. On top of my collage I add some colour with acrylic ink and mark making with a Posca paint pen. For my focal image I am using an image from my Sketchy Leaves stamp set, which I am colouring in with watercolors. The title is a word from my Mix A Sentiment stamp set.

Ich verwende handgemachte Collagepapiere, darunter welche, die durch Farbreste entstanden sind und solche, die ich mit der Gelli Plate bedruckt habe. Auf meinen Collage-Hintergrund kommt anschließend noch etwas Farbe mit Acryltinte und ein paar Mark Makings mit einem weißen Posca-Marker.

Collage and Watercolor Pencils – An Art Journal Page- Video Tutorial

Hi everyone! Today I am sharing a mixed media art journal page using mainly collage and watercolor pencils. I am working with the Derwent Inktense as I love their vibrancy. If you don’t have watercolor pencils you can also use watercolors instead. My focal image on this spread is a flower bouquet in a vase made with my Textured Flowers Stamp set. The flowers are also colored in the the watercolor pencils.

Halli hallo. Heute gestalte ich eine Art Journal Seite im Aquarellbuch von Kunst und Papier. Den Hintergrund mache ich mit Collagepapieren und Aquarellstiften. Ich verwende die Derwent Inktense Stift, da diese so schöne leuchtende Farben haben. Wenn du keine Aquarellstifte hast kannst du die Seite auch mit normalen Aquarellfarben gestalten. Mein Hauptmotiv ist ein Blumenstrauß in einer Vase, den ich mit Motiven aus meinem Textured Flowers Stempelset gestalte. Die Blumen koloriere ich ebenfalls mit den Aquarellstiften.

Ink Smooshing with Distress Inks & Oxides – An Art Journal Background – Video Tutorial

Hi everyone! As I enjoyed this process so much, I am playing in my watercolor journal today again using Distress Inks and Distress Oxides with some of our stencils and stamps. This technique creates a lovely layered background that can be used not only for art journaling also for other mixed media projects like cards, atcs or tags. Today I wanted to make a spread with some spring vibes.

Halli hallo. Heute gestalte ich eine Art Journal Seite im Aquarellbuch von Kunst und Papier. Den Hintergrund mache ich mit einigen unserer Schablonen und Stempeln kombiniert mit Distress Ink und Distress Oxide Stempelkissen. Mit dieser Technik entsteht ein wunderschöner geschichteter Hintergrund mit viel Textur. Die einzelnen Schichten trockne ich zwischendurch, damit die Farben am Ende nicht matschig aussehen.

Mixed Media Tags with Acrylic Background and Collage Fodder

Hi everyone! Today I am sharing a set of four mixed media collage tags using fluid acrylic paint combined with some stamps and a lot of collage paper scraps. Some of the scraps I die cut with my Sizzix Big shot with rabbit dies, birds and some branches. These make very interesting negative space images to put onto the tags. It’s a fabulous project today if you want to get rid of some paper left overs and if you are in the mood to mess around with paints or inks.

Halli hallo! Heute habe ich ein Set mit Vier Mixed Media Tags für dich. Ich gestalte einen Hintergrund mit Acrylfarben und verwende viele übriggebliebene Collage Schnipsel. Einige von Ihnen stanze ich mit meiner Sizzix Big Shot und Kaninchen, Vogel und Blättermotiven. Diese “Rahmen” eignen sich ganz prima für eine Interessante Collage-Schicht. Dieses Projekt ist perfekt, wenn du noch übrige Schnipsel hast und ein bisschen Lust auf Farbe an den Händen.

Hi everyone! I’m sharing a spread in one of my handmade junk art journals today, playing with Collage, Stamps, Acrylic Inks and Mark Making. I pulled out my handmade Washi Tape for this spread as well. I recently really enjoy playing loosely in these little books. On this one I especially love the colour combo. I think neon pink with the kraft color, yellow and black is amazing.

In den letzten Wochen genieße ich es richtig in diesen kleinen Büchern kreativ zu sein. Bei der heutigen Seite gefällt mir besonderst gut die Farbkombination aus Neonpink, Kraft-farben, Gelb und Schwarz.
