Make your own Washi Tape! Full Video Tutorial!

I recently made my own kind of washi tape using gummed paper tape together with a Gel Plate and some Stamps. I already shared some process clips over on my instagram page, but today I have a full video tutorial for you on my YouTube channel. As a little Bonus I’m also printing some stickers! These tapes are great for art collages, cardmaking, scrapbooking, mini albums and other papercrafting projects. You will find many ideas what to do with them over on my Instagram Page.

Vor einiger Zeit habe ich mein eigenes Washitape mit Hilfe von Nassklebeband hergestellt. Dazu brauchst du außerdem eine Gelli Plate und einige Stempel. Abstract Watercolor Painting in my Art Journal – Process Video

Abstract painting can be a wonderful way to express yourself and relax. You can work with different colors, textures and materials to create unique and interesting works of art. This process can help reduce stress and anxiety. You can experiment with colors and shapes. Intuitive painting gives you the freedom to express yourself creatively and is a great way to just enjoy the creation process. In today’s video tutorial I create in my Kunst und Papier watercolor book with mainly watercolors in a playful way. I do some markmaking with stamps, paint pens and crayons. Enjoy!

Mixed Media Collage in my handmade Junk Art Journal

Hi everyone! A few weeks ago I shared a full tutorial on how to make your own art journal and today I am going to create another page in it. I am using gelli prints, some stamps and handmade ephemera, such as handmade washi tape and stickers.

I’m printing some lovely papers today with my gelli plate and stamps from our Pencil Marks 6 and Carved Collection 3 Clear stamp sets. These prints are great for art collages, cardmaking, scrapbooking, mini albums and other papercrafting projects. You will find many ideas what to do with them over on my Instagram Page.

Im heutigen Video mache ich einige Hintergrund-Papiere mit der Geldruckplatte (Gelli Plate). Ich nehme eine bunte Mischung mit Stempeln aus unseren Clearstamps Set Pencil Marks 6 und Carved Collection 3 Clear. Zum Drucken verwende ich Acrylfarben und 120-200g/m² Druckerpapier. Auf meiner Instagramseite findest du viele Ideen was man mit den Papieren so alles machen kann.

Mixed Media Collage Tags for your Journals

In today’s video I am going to create some fun and easy mixed media tags to use as ephemera in my art and junk journals. I am using tags cut wit a die from Canson XL watercolor paper. It’s a nice and not so expensive paper ideal for papercrafting and stamping. I am painting the background with fluid acrylics and add texture with stamps and markmaking.

Heute zeige ich eine Anleitung für Mixed Media Tags, die ich gerne als Verzierung in meinen Art/ Junk Journals verwende. Die Tags habe ich mit einer Stanzschablone aus dem Canson XL Aquarellpapier gestanzt. Das ist ein günstiges schweres Papier, dass sich sehr gut zum Stempeln und Basteln eignet. Den Hintergrund gestalte ich mit flüssigen Acrylfarben. Anschließend ergänze ich Textur und Markmakings mit Stempeln und Neocolor Kreide.

Hi everyone! Today I’d like to share some of the latest art journal pages I made in my handmade journals. I love to work in these books in kind of a messy way. Most of the times I apply paints with my fingers, add markmaking with stamps and crayons and create a focal point with stentiment using my stamp designs from Rubber Dance.

Hallo! Heute möchte ich dir einige der neusten Art Journal Seiten in meinen handgebundenen Journals zeigen. Ich arbeite in diesen kleinen Büchlein am liebsten mit Acrylfarben, Stempeln und Markmaking Tools. Dazu trage ich die Farben häufig einfach mit dem Finger auf. Anschließend ergänze ich Texturedn mit Stempeln und Kreiden. Als Hauptmotiv nutze ich Motive und Texte aus diversen Stempelset von Rubber Dance.

Cute Owl Drawing with Paul Rubens Oil-Pastels

In today’s video I have a closer look at the brand new Paul Rubens Oil Pastels HaiYa. I have you to tell in advance, that I am not an oil pastel artist! I love mixed media and I use oil pastels in my sketchbook to add some accents or for mark making in my art journal. In this video I’m going to make an owl sketch with the pastels. They are super creamy, go down very smoothly and blend really nicely.

Mixed Media Collage Tags with Paul Rubens Acrylics

In today’s video I have a closer look at the acrylic paints from Paul Rubens. I’m going to swatch all the paints from the 24 tube set and I will make some mixed media tags and share my thoughts on these paints. I’m using the paints for the tag background combined with some Rubber Dance stamps. For the focal image on the bigger tags I’m using the flowers from Pencil Marks 6 and color them in with the Mei Liang Watercolors.

Heute zeige ich einige Mixed Media Tags mit den Acrylfarben von Paul Rubens. Ich verwende die kleineren Tags gern im Art Journal. Die größeren eignen sich prima als Geschenkanhänger, als Lesezeichen oder einfach als kleine Beigabe für “Happy Mail”. Ich kombiniere den Acrylhintergrund mit einigen Stempeln aus unseren Carved Collection 3 und Pencil Marks 6 Stempelsets.
