Abstract Watercolor Art Journaling – Video Tutorial

On today’s abstract watercolor art journal spread I am playing with the black tulip brushes which were kindly sent to me from Zen Art Supplies. I really enjoy these kinf of spreads, as they are kind of a creativity booster if you have an art block. They are working just like a recipe and I am able to play with my watercolors, explore them a little bit more and work with some of my stamps.

In Today I am creating a bunch of collage papers from Gelli Prints, Paper Scraps, Old book pages, Palette papers and also some “Collage-Snacks” as focal images for mixed media projects. With this stuff I create some mixed media Artist Trading Cards.

Abstract Watercolor Art Journaling – using Paul Rubens Metallic Paints

Today I am reviewing the Paul Rubens Metallic Watercolors and I will use them on my abstract watercolor painting today. [Advertising] The company Arrtx was so kind and asked me, if I’d be interested in trying out their 24 set of metallic watercolors. I really enjoyed working with the paints and will use them in future projects for sure. They have a wonderful shimmer and I really like the color selection. What I also liked was the packaging they came in. I also tried their masking tape and it gave me a nice clean border around the painting.
