Art Journal Page – Distress Inks Smooshing – Video Tutorial

Hi everybody! I’m sharing an art journal tutorial today using one of my favourite techniques to create a background. I am using stencils together with Distress Inks. By layering up different patterns you can create depth and interest. I’m combining the background with stamps from our new Mix It Up 5 & Mix It Up 6 stamps sets. My focal images on this page are some leaves from Pencil Marks 2 and a Butterfly stamp.

Hallo zusammen. Heute zeige ich wieder eine Seite im Art Journal vom Action. Für den Hintergrund verwende ich eine meiner Lieblingstechniken. Distress Inks mit Schablonen. Durch das Schichten der verschiedenen Muster erhält man einen interessanten Hintergrund. Ich kombiniere diesen noch mit einem Stempelmotive aus den neuen Mix It Up 5 und Mix It Up 6 Stempelsets. Das Hauptmotiv gestalte ich mit Blättern aus Pencil Marks 2 Set und einem Schmetterling von dem Grungy Butterflies Set.

Abstract Art Journal Tutorial with Collage Fodder

Hi everybody. I am sharing a new art journaling vide today which is perfect for beginners. I am using acrylic inks together with collage and a bit of mark making in my art journal. If you don’t have acrylic inks you can use watercolors instead! I am laying down the inks quite loosely and try to leave some white space to keep a high contrast. I picked inks in neon pink, magenta and yellow. For my focal point I was using collage fodder which I pick from my left over papers. I stamp some of them to bring in more interest. For the mark making I used a normal pencil and some Neocolor crayons.

Hallo zusammen. Ich zeige heute ein neues Art Journaling Video. Es eignet sich gut für Anfänger. Ich benutze Acryl-Tinten zusammen mit Collage und einigen Markmakings im Art Journal vom Action. Wenn du keine Acryl-Tinten hast, kannst du stattdessen Aquarellfarben verwenden! Ich trage die Tinten ziemlich locker auf und versuche, etwas Weiß übrig zu lassen, um einen hohen Kontrast zu erzielen. Ich habe Tinten in Neonpink, Magenta und Gelb ausgewählt. Für meinen Blickfang habe ich Collagenmaterial verwendet, das ich aus meinen übrig gebliebenen Papieren ausgesucht habe. Ich stempel einige davon, um mehr Kontrast zu erhalten. Für die Markmakings habe ich einen normalen Bleistift und einige Neocolor-Kreiden verwendet.
