Hi everybody! I’m sharing an art journaling tutorial. Today I’m playing with Distress Inks and Oxides and a few stamps from Mix It Up 4 and Mix It Up 6. As my focal image I used an image from our Doodle Flowers 2 stamp set together with some collage.

Art Journal Page with Daniel Smith Watercolor Sticks

Hi everybody! I’m sharing an art journaling tutorial. Today I’m playing with my Daniel Smith watercolor sticks and a few stamps from Mix It Up 5 and Mix It Up 6. As my focal image I used an image from our Butterflies and Moths stamp set. I really love playing intuitively and abstract with watercolors. You don’t need these sticks to play along, usual watercolors will work just as fine.

Mixed Media Tags with Stencil Texture & Crayons

Hi there, Susanne here with a mixed media tag tutorial! Today I am playing with collage, stencil texture with Small Triangles, Distress Crayons and of course: some stamping! I create two autumnal tags with a forest theme. If you don’t have the Distress Crayons this technique will also work with Neocolor II, Stabilo Woodys or Faber Castell Gelatos. I am working with stamps from Textured Mushroom 2 , Doodle Flowers 2, Mix It Up 4 & A to Z.

Ich kreiere zwei herbstliche tags mit einem Waldthema. Anstelle von Distress Crayons kannst du auch andere wasserlösliche Kreiden verwenden, wie z.B. die Neocolor II, die Stabilo Woodys oder die Faber Castell Gelatos. Ich verwende heute Stempel aus den Textured Mushroom 2 , Doodle Flowers 2, Mix It Up 4 & A to Z Sets.

Autumnal Art Journal Page with Mushrooms

Hi there, Susanne here with a new mixed media art journal page using rice paper for a background collage together with Distress Crayons and texture stamps from my Autumn Leaves, Mix It Up 5 and Mix It Up 6 stamp sets. I am creating an autumnal forest scene with the Textured Mushroom 2 stamps as focal images. My rice papers are printed with the gelli plate. I also used our Sketchy Leaves 4 stencil to bring some depth to the background.

Hi there, Susanne here with a new mixed media art journal page in my Action art journal playing with collage, acrylic inks and Brusho powders. I am creating an autumnal forest scene with my new Textured Mushroom 2 stamps as focal images. I’m using a fun technique to color those mushrooms in with Brusho powders. On the background I play with images from Autumn Leaves.

Dazu verwende ich für den Hintergrund eine Collage aus verschiedenen Papieren zusammen mit Acryltinten und Brushos. Ich möchte eine Waldszene mit Pilzen gestalten, dazu verwende ich Stempel aus unserem Textured Mushroom 2 Stempelset. Diese koloriere ich ebenso mit Busho pigmenten. Den Hintergrund peppe ich noch mit einigen Stempelmotiven auf, darunter Blätter aus unserem Autumn Leaves Stempelset.

Mixed Media Index Cards with Soft Pastels – Video Tutorial & Pastel Review

Hi everybody! Today I am sharing a fun technique to do with soft pastels together with mixed media. I’m also having a look at the 70 Soft Pastel set from Marie’s. Lightwish kindly sent this to me for free! I am creating some autumnal Icads today using our stamp set of the month (it’s 10% off in September): the Autumn Leaves.

DIY Collage Fodder Embellishments from Paper Scraps

Hi everybody! I have so many scrap papers left over and today I am using a few of them to create some lovely handmade collage fodder embellishments with an autumnal style that can be used on art journal pages, junk journal pages, greeting cards or other mixed media projects. I use my new Textured Mushrooms stamp set to decorate the ephemera pieces.

Easy Art Journal Tutorial with Neocolors & Collage Fodder

Layered Art Journal Page with Inks, Stamps and Stencil – Video Tutorial

Hi there, Susanne here with a new mixed media art journal page in my Action art journal using a lot of layering with Distress Inks, Acrylic Inks, Stamps and Stencils. To bring in a high contrast I stamped leaves from our Pencil Marks 7 stamp set with black acrylic paint. Through layering with stamps, inks and stencils I achieve depth on my spread. I finished the page up with a bit of collage to cover up a mistake.
