I have a junk art journal spread for you today using up some of my paper scraps, different background stamps and my Sketchy Flowers stamps. I really love to create these spreads. They are perfect for a quick start when you don’t really know where to start.

I love playing abstract and intuitive with watercolors. I often play in my journal 5-10 minutes during housework or cooking. This gives me always a bit of creative time during each day. Usually I don’t plan anything but the colours. I have started a sketchbook recently where I record my favourite color palettes.

I’m creating a grungy collage spread in my handmade junk art journal today. I am using my underpapers, which I use to clean brushes and stamps or put on left over paint. I am working with a certain color scheme that I have in my color sketchbook.
