I’m creating some mixed media tags today with Brushos. I tried to give them kind of a vintage look by creating the background with stamped tissue.

I made an art journal page with a collage background using scraps from my gelli prints. This is a great way to get rid of them. You can combine and experiment with different colors and shapes which will create amazing variations of mixed media backgrounds.

I’m creating some mixed media ATCs today using scraps of my gelli prints. I collage them onto the background. The base is just some recycled cardboard. I am adding interest with gesso and watercolors and also some stamping.
In today’s video I am making some more prints with my Gelli Plate. I needed some backgrounds for spring projects. As always I am using stamps to create patterns on the plate.

I love to paint loose and sketchy flowers with watercolors. I believe this is something everybody can do without having much knowledge about watercolor painting. For this spread I used waterproof ink to sketch the flower first and then I went in with my Neocolor I Crayons and watercolors.
