Hi everybody! I’m sharing another new fun watercolor session in my sketchbook today. I love playing with color palettes in my dedicated color journal. Today I am experimenting with an autumnal palette I’ve put together this week.
Before we start I’d like to tell you some exciting news! I am a teacher in the popular Wanderlust workshop next year! It’s the Wanderlust 2027 – Seasons Edition! Amongst 40 amazing artist I am able to share a lesson and I am super proud to be part of that! I’d be happy to see you in class next year! All information is available on the Wanderlust website!
Playing with watercolors is one of the most relaxing things you can do. And great is, that it’s not very messy. I love watching the pigments move around, bleeding and feathering in the water. Its always a little surprise to see how the paint does its own thing. In today’s tutorial I am using my autumn palette which I’ve chosen in this video, which was exclusively for monthly memebers over on YouTube. Scroll down for today’s play video:

I don’t know all the color names but this is what I’ve used: Rosa Gallery: Yellow Ochre & Cadmium Red Light, a Pink (maybe Opera Rose or Quinachridone Rose), a granulating violette-brown from Schmincke (either Vulkan Violett or Galaxy Pink), a granulating teal-blue and a Mahagoni Brown from Mijello. To add details I am using some Arrtx acrylic markers.
Many of the supplies I use, are available at Craftelier (de), Craftelier (uk), Craftelier (es). It’s one of my favourite shops for art materials as they have a big range, good prices and reasonable shipping costs (free on order over 60€).
I also have all my favourite Materials collected on my Amazon storefront. These are all affiliate links, you don’t pay more, but I get a small amount back. Thank you!
Enjoy watching the process:
