Hi everybody! I am sharing a new exclusive video today for my lovely Mixed Media Play members over on YouTube. I am creating an abstract watercolor painting with the color palette I put together in last weeks videos. I’ll link them up in the post, too.
During summer I did a lot of sketchbook work, I painted outside and drew on location in our holidays! I hadn’t done much abstract, intuitive watercolor painting. Last week I spent one day only painting, I finished some paintings I started and started some new ones. I recorded the process exclusively for my lovely members for the painting above.
I’d like to share some more paintings I did on that day. I am starting with a close-up of the one from today’s video:

I used a limited color palette for this one. I have two videos putting it together. The first is also an exclusive video for members, the other is free for everybody.

I love to start playing with a color palette before I make a painting with them.
Here are some more paintings from this week!

Thanks for stopping by today! xx Susanne

Many of the supplies I use, are available at Craftelier (de), Craftelier (uk), Craftelier (es). It’s one of my favourite shops for art materials as they have a big range, good prices and reasonable shipping costs (free on order over 60€).
I also have all my favourite Materials collected on my Amazon storefront. These are all affiliate links, you don’t pay more, but I get a small amount back. Thank you!
