Abstract Watercolor Art Journaling – Video Tutorial

I love playing abstract and intuitive with watercolors. I often play in my journal 5-10 minutes during housework or cooking. This gives me always a bit of creative time during each day. Usually I don’t plan anything but the colours. I have started a sketchbook recently where I record my favourite color palettes.

Some Watercolor Paintings…

During the last weeks I made some abstract botanical watercolor paintings. I really enjoy the intuitive process. Putting down the colors and adding some free shapes, it so much fun. I have an old book from my grandparents about medical herbs which inspires my botanicals. I am very much inspired by the work of Alena Hennessey, Laura Horn, Tracey Verdugo, Flora Bowley, Faith Evans-Sills, Suzanne Allard (she has some great Skillshare Classes) and Cathy Nichols.
