Hi there, Susanne here with a new mixed media art journal page using Distress Inks together with stencils and a mini gel plate to create texture and depth. I am also working with stamps from my Mix It Up 4 and Mix It Up 6 stamp set. As my focal image I used a leaf that I’ve made with my Sketchy Leaves 5 stencil, Distress Oxide in Wild Honey and some embossed textures

For even more texture and interest I stamped images form my Mix It Up 4 and Mix It Up 6 stamp sets. As my focal image I used a leave that I’ve made with my Sketchy Leaves 5 stencil.

For even more texture and interest I used our Stars stencil and also images form my Mix It Up 4 and Mix It Up 5 stamp sets. As my focal image I used a fern leave that I’ve made with my Sketchy Leaves 5 stencil.

Autumnal Art Journal Page with Distress Inks

Hi there, Susanne here with a new mixed media art journal page using Distress Inks and Oxides for the background together with my Sketchy Leaves 4 stencil. I am creating an autumnal forest scene with the Textured Mushroom 2 stamps as focal images. I colored the mushrooms with Distress Inks, too. For even more texture and interest I also used images form my Autumn Leaves, Mix It Up 4 and Mix It Up 6 stamp sets.
I used Fossilized Amber, Scattered Straw, Aged Mahagony and Worn Lipstick from the Distress Inks and Peeled Paint from the Distress Oxides.

Collage Fodder with the Gel Plate – Video Tutorial

Hi everybody! We are going to make a lot of botanical collage fodder in today’s video using my new Sketchy Leaves 5 stencil together with the gelli plate and some colorful gelli prints. Actually we are using only the masks of these stencils. I’ve already used such a collage element in my last Saturday-video.

Hi everybody! I’m sharing an art journaling tutorial. Today I’m playing with my Daniel Smith watercolor sticks and a few stamps from Mix It Up 5 and Mix It Up 6. As my focal image I used an image from our Butterflies and Moths stamp set. I really love playing intuitively and abstract with watercolors. You don’t need these sticks to play along, usual watercolors will work just as fine.
