Sketchbook – Drawing Practice – Timed Owl Drawings

Hey everybody. I draw daily in my sketchbook using lots of different mediums together. My most favourite subjects are animals and landscapes. As a little challenge I either visit one of my Patreon Artist’s drawing sessions or I make my own. I then mainly do some timed drawings of a certain subject. What I don’t like about doing this on my own is, that after every sequenz I have to pick a new image and reset the timer. That’s where today’s video comes in! I edited a video for drawing lemurs with different timed images. All those images are copyright free and I downloaded them from pexels.com. I enjoyed working with this video and uploaded it to YouTube, so that other people who would like to draw can use this for practice.

Art Journal Page Tutorial – Creating Layers with Mixed Media

Hi everybody! I’m sharing an abstract mixed media art journal tutorial today and I am diving into transparent layering with different mediuma. Layers with texture and colours create depth in your abstract work. It makes your pieces interesting and the process is so enjoyable. For my spread I am using handmade collage papers, acrylic inks, paint pens, Neocolors, a stencil and stamps from Pencil Marks 7.

Da kommen die Neocolor Kreiden, Acryltinten und so einiges an Markmaking zum Einsatz. Außerdem verwende ich die Marks 3 Schablone und Stempel aus dem Pencil Marks 7 Stempelset.

Sketchbook Pages from our Holidays

It’s been a while that I shared something from my sketchbook here. It’s not that I am not drawing, no, it’s just the small amount of time a day has…. Today I am sharing some of my sketches I did in our holidays where we’ve been at the end of May… We’ve been in the bavarian Rhön.

Es ist schon einige Zeit her, dass ich Seiten aus meinem Skizzenbuch gezeigt habe. Nicht, dass ich nichts gezeichnet habe, nein, ich finde manchmal einfach nicht die Zeit. 24h pro Tag sind irgendwie zu wenig. Heute möchte ich ein paar Seiten aus unserem Pfingsurlaub dieses Jahr zeigen. Wir waren in der schönen bayerischen Rhön.

Art Journal Page Tutorial using my handmade Washi Tape and Brusho Pigment Powders

Welcome to my new art journaling tutorial. Of course I’m going to use some of my handmade Washi Tape that I shared in my last video with you! I am working in my Sketchbook from Action together with clear gesso and Brusho Pigment Powders (alternative: Lindy’s Magicals, Nuvo Shimmer Powders). For my focal images I am using some collage fodder made with my Sketchy Leaves 4 stencil and one of my cute Textured Birds stamps.

Willkommen zu meinem neusten Video! Es ist mal wieder eine Seite in meinem Lieblings-Art Journal vom Action. Ich verwende natürlich gleich mal meine neuen selbstgemachten Washi Tapes (aus meinem letzten Video) zusammen mit transparentem Gesso und Brusho Pulvern (Alternative: Lindy’s Magicals, Nuvo Shimmer Powders). Meine Hauptmotive sind einige Blätter, die ich mit unserer Sketchy Leaves 4 stencil Schablone gestaltet habe und ein Vogelstempel aus meinem Textured Birds Stempelset.

Abstract & Intuitive Art Journaling with Watercolors

Welcome to my latest video tutorial and watercolor review! I have a closer look at the brand new watercolors from Paul Rubens! They kindly send them to me to try them out. You want to know what I think about them? Watch the video!
After I swatched all the colours in this 24 pan set I am going to create an abstract and intuitive art journal page with them. As a little extra I give you some tips on how to mix some lovely natural granulating greens!

Mixed Media Play in my handmade Junk Art Journal

Hi there, Susanne here with a junk art journal spread using watercolors, acrylic inks, collage and some flowers and leaves from my Loose Florals stamp set. I am working in one of my handmade old book journals. I made them years ago with an old book cover and a lot of junky papers. I love to work in this journal whenever I have absolutely no idea what to create. I just blob down colors and go with the flow.

Hallo zusammen! Heute zeige ich mal wieder eine mixed media Seite in meinem handgemachten Junk Art Journal. Ich verwende die Blumenstempel aus meinem Loose Florals Set zusammen mit Aquarellfarben, Acryltinten, Collage und Markmakings.
