DIY Collage Fodder Embellishments from Paper Scraps

Hi everybody! I have so many scrap papers left over and today I am using a few of them to create some lovely handmade collage fodder embellishments with an autumnal style that can be used on art journal pages, junk journal pages, greeting cards or other mixed media projects. I use my new Textured Mushrooms stamp set to decorate the ephemera pieces.

Easy Art Journal Tutorial with Neocolors & Collage Fodder

Hi there, Susanne here with a new mixed media art journal page in my Action art journal using a background collage made with my handmade washi tapes together with Neocolors and gouache sticks. As my focal images I am using my collage fodder embellishments I shared in one of my recent videos. This one features a stamp from our Doodle Flowers stamp set.

Layered Art Journal Page with Inks, Stamps and Stencil – Video Tutorial

Hi there, Susanne here with a new mixed media art journal page in my Action art journal using a lot of layering with Distress Inks, Acrylic Inks, Stamps and Stencils. To bring in a high contrast I stamped leaves from our Pencil Marks 7 stamp set with black acrylic paint. Through layering with stamps, inks and stencils I achieve depth on my spread. I finished the page up with a bit of collage to cover up a mistake.

I am using different clear stamp sets to create a focal point on the ephemera pieces. All the stamp sets I am using are linked at the bottom of this post and in the description of the video.

Die lassen sich prima als Hingucker auf Art Journal Seiten, Grußkarten, im Junkjournal und auf anderen Mixed Media Projekten, wie ATCs oder Tags verwenden. Meine Papiere sind hauptsächlich Gelli Prints, diese kombiniere ich mit bereits gestempelten, teilweise kolorierten Motiven. Altered Index Cards on Cardboard with Embossing and Brushos

Hi everybody! I’m sharing an index card trio today using cardboard and the embossing resist technique with white powder and Brushos. I adhered three index cards to a piece of old cardboard, primed that with gesso and cut them apart. I am stamping the background with images from our Vintage Stuff stamp set with white embossing powder. I added a bit more background stamping with the words from the same set and brown StazOn ink. To add colour and bring the embossing to live I spritzed the cards with water added the Brusho powders. As a focal image on the cards I used stamps from our Grungy Butterflies stamp set. I colored them quickly with Brushos and embossed the complete butterfly with clear powder.

Willkommen zu meinem neusten Video! Heute teile ich ein Icad Trio, die ich mit Karton und der Embossing-Resist-Technik mit weißem Embossingpulver und Brushos gestaltet habe. Ich habe drei Karteikarten auf ein Stück alten Karton geklebt, sie mit Gesso grundiert und dann auseinander geschnitten. Für den Hintergrund habe ich Bilder aus unserem Vintage Stuff Stempelset mit weißem Embossingpulver gestempelt. Zusätzlich habe ich noch ein paar Hintergrundstempel, mit Worten aus demselben Set und brauner StazOn-Tinte ,hinzugefügt. Um Farbe hinzuzufügen und das Embossing zum Leben zu erwecken, habe ich die Karten mit Wasser besprüht und die Brusho-Pulver darauf gestreut. Als zentrales Motiv auf den Karten habe ich Stempel aus unserem Grungy Butterflies Stempelset verwendet. Diese habe ich mit Brushos koloriert und anschließend komplett mir klarem Embossingpulver überzogen.

Sketchbook – Drawing Practice – Timed Owl Drawings

Hey everybody. I draw daily in my sketchbook using lots of different mediums together. My most favourite subjects are animals and landscapes. As a little challenge I either visit one of my Patreon Artist’s drawing sessions or I make my own. I then mainly do some timed drawings of a certain subject. What I don’t like about doing this on my own is, that after every sequenz I have to pick a new image and reset the timer. That’s where today’s video comes in! I edited a video for drawing lemurs with different timed images. All those images are copyright free and I downloaded them from pexels.com. I enjoyed working with this video and uploaded it to YouTube, so that other people who would like to draw can use this for practice.

Art Journal Page Tutorial – Creating Layers with Mixed Media

Hi everybody! I’m sharing an abstract mixed media art journal tutorial today and I am diving into transparent layering with different mediuma. Layers with texture and colours create depth in your abstract work. It makes your pieces interesting and the process is so enjoyable. For my spread I am using handmade collage papers, acrylic inks, paint pens, Neocolors, a stencil and stamps from Pencil Marks 7.

Da kommen die Neocolor Kreiden, Acryltinten und so einiges an Markmaking zum Einsatz. Außerdem verwende ich die Marks 3 Schablone und Stempel aus dem Pencil Marks 7 Stempelset.
