I’m creating today’s page in my handmade gelli printed art journal. I love creating in this journal, as it doesn’t need much time and effort to finish a page.
Playing intuitively with watercolors can be so relaxing and so much fun. I love to do this after a busy day. It really calms me down! It’s also a good way to practise your watercolor skills and to explore new ideas. On this spread I experimented with salt and gold leaf.
I’m creating a page today in my mini handmade Traveler’s Notebook Art Journal. I used the Neocolors for the whole spread. I created the background and colored in the stamped flowers. It’s an easy page an perfect for beginners.

During the last weeks I made some abstract botanical watercolor paintings. I really enjoy the intuitive process. Putting down the colors and adding some free shapes, it so much fun. Today I have an easy diy paper project for you. I folded a one sheet ATC Pocket Folder from an A4 Paper. This little folder can be used to store or trade Artist Trading Cards. Today’s art journal spread is created in my handmade mini Traveler’s Notebook Art Journal. I am working also with handmade inserts from mixed media paper. For coloring I used watercolors today.
Hi there! At first I’d like to mention, that you don’t need gouache paints to create these tags. The background can be painted with watercolors, too. My tags today are very colorful and combined with some dies from Tim Holtz and different stamps.
