Cute Owl Drawing with Paul Rubens Oil-Pastels

In today’s video I have a closer look at the brand new Paul Rubens Oil Pastels HaiYa. I have you to tell in advance, that I am not an oil pastel artist! I love mixed media and I use oil pastels in my sketchbook to add some accents or for mark making in my art journal. In this video I’m going to make an owl sketch with the pastels. They are super creamy, go down very smoothly and blend really nicely.

Arrtx Oil Pastels – Video Review

In today’s video I have a closer look on the Paul Rubens Oil Pastels and the new Arrtx acrylic markers. I have you to tell in advance, that I am not an oil pastel artist! I love mixed media and I use oil pastels in my sketchbook to add some accents or for mark making in my art journal. For this purpose I am really happy with both sets. The pastels are super creamy and blend really nicely. The acrylic markers have a brush tip and are permanent once they are dry! This is awesome, as I’ve never seen something like that.

They are great for handlettering, mixed media projects, cardmaking and to add beautiful accents to your watercolor paintings. Some colors are more opaque than others, some are interference and some have a more glittery granulating effect.

In today’s video I have a closer look on the Ocean Paradise Watercolors from Super Vision. These are rock mica layered watercolors. I really enjoy working these paints! They are perfect from abstract paintings or landscapes because of her granulating effects.

Review on the Paul Rubens Mei Liang Watercolors

In today’s video I have a closer look on the Paul Rubens MeiLiang Watercolors. I believe these are also known as Pretty Excellent Watercolor Palette. These are metallic watercolors. With the 48 Set you get 36 normal watercolor plus 12 metallic/pearlescent watercolors. I really like these paints! They are a great starter set or to take with you when travelling.
