Brand new way to use your Stencils for Gelli Printing!

This will change your way of working with the gelli plate using your stencils! All you need is a die-cutting machine! Instead of using your stencil directly on your gel plate you create an embossed piece of cardstock and use this to create texture on your plate. This means your stencil won’t get any paint on them and you don’t have to clean them afterwards.

Heute habe ich eine brand neue Idee, wie du Schablonen zusammen mit der Geldruckplatte verwenden kannst. Anstatt direkt mit den Schablonen auf der Gelli Plate zu arbeiten embossen wir Cardstock mit der Schablone und einer Stanzmaschine. Diesen verwendest du dann um Texturen und Muster auf die Gelplatte zu zaubern.

Art Journaling Tutorial – Collage, Texture and Brushos

Hi everyone! Today I have an art journaling tutorial for you that includes a bunch of mixed media techniques such as collage, texture paste and Brusho powders. Halli hallo. Heute zeige ich eine Art Journal Seite mit so einigen Mixed Media Techniken. Ich verwende Collage, Strukturpaste und Brushos. Außerdem nehme ich einige unserer neuen Stempel um etwas mehr Textur im Hintergrund zu erzeugen und unsere neue Sketchy Leaves 3 Schablone um das Hauptmotiv zu kreieren. Hi everyone! In today’s video I am using up some of my collage scraps! I always try to get rid of the small bits an pieces. I am making two mixed media journal cards with some of my bird stamps today. You can use this technique for all kinds of projects, for ATCs or greeting cards and of course in your art journal, too. The cards I am creating are great to use in your handmade journals or scrapbook albums.

Distress Inks and Stencil Smooshing – Colorful Art Journal Page

Hi everyone! As I enjoyed this process so much, I am playing in my watercolor journal today again using Distress Inks with some of our stencils. This technique creates a lovely layered background that can be used not only for art journaling also for other mixed media projects like cards, atcs or tags.
I am inking up the stencils, spritz them with water and then use them like a stamp to get an impression on my pages. I am drying the layers in-between to avoid mud and to get a more dimensional look.

Den Hintergrund mache ich mit einigen unserer Schablonen kombiniert mit Distress Ink Stempelkissen. Mit dieser Technik entsteht ein wunderschöner geschichteter Hintergrund mit viel Textur. Die einzelnen Schichten trockne ich zwischendurch, damit die Farben am Ende nicht matschig aussehen.
