Distress Inks and Stencil Smooshing – I am enjoying this technique so much

Hi everyone! As I enjoyed this process so much, I am playing in my watercolor journal today again using Distress Inks with some of our new stencils. This technique creates a lovely layered background that can be used not only for art journaling also for other mixed media projects like cards, atcs or tags.
I am inking up the stencils, spritz them with water and then use them like a stamp to get an impression on my pages. I am drying the layers in-between to avoid mud and to get a more dimensional look.

Den Hintergrund mache ich mit einigen unserer neuen Schablonen kombiniert mit Distress Ink Stempelkissen. Mit dieser Technik entsteht ein wunderschöner geschichteter Hintergrund mit viel Textur. Die einzelnen Schichten trockne ich zwischendurch, damit die Farben am Ende nicht matschig aussehen.

Let’s make some mixed media ATCs – FREE VIDEO TUTORIAL

Karton ist ein ideales Material für Mixed Media Projekte und eignet sich perfekt als Basis. Es ist stabil und gleichzeitig sehr leicht, also gut zum verschicken.

Hi everyone! Collage is one of my favourite techniques when it comes to creating! I’m sharing a fun way today on how to make a set of mixed media collage journal cards. They are fabulous to add some pops of colors to any of your journals. You can of course use the same technique to create a masterpiece for ATCs, tags or cards. I am working with Collage, stenciling and glacing. To finish my journal cards I am adding some stamping, ink and more collage.

Mixed Media Collage with Gel Prints

Hi everyone! I’m sharing an art journal tutorial today using gelli prints and handmade collage papers for the background combined with some stenciling, stamping and mark making! I love this way to start a journal page! It’s super easy, intuitive and gives you interesting results! Yesterday we updated our shop and added two new stamp sets and ten stencils! Make your own Washi Tape! Full Video Tutorial!

I recently made my own kind of washi tape using gummed paper tape together with a Gel Plate and some Stamps. I already shared some process clips over on my instagram page, but today I have a full video tutorial for you on my YouTube channel. As a little Bonus I’m also printing some stickers! These tapes are great for art collages, cardmaking, scrapbooking, mini albums and other papercrafting projects. You will find many ideas what to do with them over on my Instagram Page.

Abstract Watercolor Painting in my Art Journal – Process Video

Abstract painting can be a wonderful way to express yourself and relax. You can work with different colors, textures and materials to create unique and interesting works of art. This process can help reduce stress and anxiety. You can experiment with colors and shapes. Intuitive painting gives you the freedom to express yourself creatively and is a great way to just enjoy the creation process. In today’s video tutorial I create in my Kunst und Papier watercolor book with mainly watercolors in a playful way. I do some markmaking with stamps, paint pens and crayons. Enjoy!

Mixed Media Collage in my handmade Junk Art Journal

I’m printing some lovely papers today with my gelli plate and stamps from our Pencil Marks 6 and Carved Collection 3 Clear stamp sets. Im heutigen Video mache ich einige Hintergrund-Papiere mit der Geldruckplatte (Gelli Plate). Ich nehme eine bunte Mischung mit Stempeln aus unseren Clearstamps Set Pencil Marks 6 und Carved Collection 3 Clear. Zum Drucken verwende ich Acrylfarben und 120-200g/m² Druckerpapier.
